Fix Outlook PST

While working in an organization, you might feel the need of opening your colleague’s calendar. Suppose your manager is not in the office and you want to ensure his/her schedule for the day, then you can simply access his calendar and related folders to fetch the required information.

Now it’s easy to view another person’s calendar, contacts, and tasks in MS Office Outlook 2003. Well one can do so from the Navigation Pane. What happens is when you access another person’s folder for the first time; the shared folder is added to the Navigation Pane. The next time you want to view the other person’s folder, you can easily select it in the Navigation Pane.

To open your colleague’s calendar, follow the steps given below:

You can view up to 30 calendars side-by-side in Calendar.

1.Go to Calendar > Open a Shared Calendar.

2.To select another person’s name from the address book, click Name or type the name in the Name box.

3.The new calendar will appear to the side of any calendar already in the view.

To open your colleague’s contact folder, follow the steps given below:

1.Go to Contacts > Open Shared Contacts.

2.To select another person’s name from the address book, click Name or type the name in the Name box.

3.Click OK.

If you wish to open your colleague’s Task folder, follow the steps given below:

1.Go to Tasks > Open Shared Tasks.

2.To select another person’s name from the address book, click Name or type the name in the Name box.

If you want to remove a name from the Other Calendars, Other Contacts, or Other Tasks lists, just right-click the name, and then click Remove from Other (Calendars, Contacts, or Tasks).

The above mentioned procedure can be used invariably to access shared Journal or Notes folders.
